When Silence Becomes Strength

Sometimes, you must release and evaluate what was, what is, and what's no longer serving you. And then, you must invest in yourself. Your peace is
non-negotiable.

As you age, you start to realize just how short life is. You only get one. And if you're not being true to yourself, then who will be? No man knows the day, the time, or the hour they'll leave this earthly place. So you better step up to the plate and start hitting home runs.
Here's the truth -when people can't get you to explain why your narrative changed, and you choose to move with grace and silence, they begin to assume. That's okay. Because when you learn to set boundaries, to tune into your self-awareness, and to invest in who you're becoming, you'll start seeing something powerful: the better version of yourself.
It may feel unfamiliar at first—the routines, roles, and behaviors you were once used to begin to shift. But when you sit still, truly sit still and allow space, silence, reflection, and the voice of God, the answers start to come. Not instantly like a microwave solution, but gradually and divinely.
You begin achieving something remarkable once you commit to moving forward intentionally, guarding your space, protecting your mind, and honoring your growth. You start to see transformation in its purest form.
Don't second-guess what's stirring in the pit of your stomach. That's your spirit speaking. That's divine instruction. Please don't look back. Don't turn into a pillar of salt like Lot's wife. When God creates a new chapter, you walk into it with complete trust.
If you're wrestling with whether or not to revisit something or someone you've already let go, let me save you trouble. The answer is no. You tried it twice. It slapped you in the face. Keep walking.
Give it back to God. Let it go. Seal it with the threefold benediction.
Amen. Amen. And Amen.
And doing it without needing anyone's validation.
My sister's final words still echo in my spirit, which rings true for every part of this message.
'GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.'
A Note From My Heart To Yours
I'm not writing this from a distant place of perfection. I'm writing this from my journey, where I've had to sit still, reflect, release, and rebuild. I know what it feels like to question everything and still choose to keep going.
This blog isn't just words- it's my truth. Moreover, know you're not alone if you find yourself somewhere in these lines. I see you. I am you. And together we're growing into something greater.
Keep Walking,
Cheryl L Griffin
